Minister of Justice participates in the first Conference Meeting of Ministers of Justice of the Ibero-American Countries

Praia, Oct 8 (Inforpress) – The Minister of Justice participated in the first Conference Meeting of Ministers of Justice of Ibero-American Countries (COMJIB) and the Conference of Ministers of Justice of Portuguese-speaking Countries (CMJPLOP), which takes place in the Canary Islands.

According to a statement sent Thursday to Inforpress, Joana Rosa went to the Canary Islands, where she represented Cabo Verde at this meeting.

As can be read in the note, the Conference of Ministers of Justice of Ibero-American Countries (COMJIB) is responsible for organizing, for the first time in the history of this organization, the official meeting of the 29 Ministers of Justice from the Spanish and Portuguese-speaking countries, integrated in the Conference of Ministers of Justice of Ibero-American Countries (COMJIB) and the Conference of Ministers of Justice of Portuguese-speaking Countries (CMJPLOP). At this meeting, two important projects were presented, the lbera and lberfides platforms, putting new technologies at the service of the Ibero-American legal community.

This project, according to the same source, can be extended to the community of Portuguese-speaking Countries, which will allow full and effective collaboration between prosecutors, criminal and judicial authorities, police and notaries for the benefit of citizens.
