Praia, Dec 3 (Inforpress) – The Minister of Culture and Creative Industries, Abraão Vicente, expressed the desire to introduce the teaching of all arts in the schools curriculum system, pointing out that there is already a negotiation with the Ministry of Education in this sense.
“The negotiation we are developing with the Ministry is that in the coming years there will be, in the curriculum review, the introduction of the teaching of all arts in schools in Cabo Verde,” he said, indicating that the format will benefit children who will spend less time on the streets and more time in schools.
“Everywhere in the world, the education system has the arts in the curriculum demonstrates that students pay more attention, more learning capacity, that is, it can not be just as fun,” he pointed out.
Abraão Vicente made this speech to the press, on the sidelines of the ceremony for delivery of musical instruments to the Mundo Novo Music School, in Achada Eugénio Lima, in Praia.
