Praia, Aug 28 (Inforpress) – Minister of Economy and Employment, José Gonçalves, who is in charge of the tourism sector, will be from today until August 31 to represent Cabo Verde at the 41st World Tourism Conference in Kigali, in Rwanda.
According to a press release, this conference aims to discuss strategies and practices to boost tourism as an engine for economic growth and job creation through innovative business models, new technologies and strategic partnerships in Africa and the world.
The meeting is attended by representatives of airlines, tour operators and travel agents, tourism specialists, hoteliers, investors and employees from around the world.
It is a “high-level” meeting that looks like an opportunity to share experiences and talk about the new tourism markets worldwide.
