Praia, Aug 17 (Inforpress) – The metrological control of fuel sales stations will be carried out by the end of the year in all the islands of the country, confirmed Wednesday the president of the Institute of Institution for Quality Management and Intellectual Property (IGQPI).
In statements to the press on the first day of metrological control of the country’s fuel station in Achada São Filipe at Praia city, the president of the IGQPI, Abraão Lopes, said that all measuring devices in the counties of the country will be verified.
Regarding the metrological control carried out in Achada São Filipe, Abraão Lopes said that a margin of error of around 0.4% was found in the measuring equipment, so that a readjustment reached 0.1%.
According to the standards, measuring equipment that is not within the tolerable margin of error (0.5%) in the case of fuels will be readjusted or should be out of service until recovered.
