São Filipe, May 3 (Inforpress) – The mayor of São Filipe defended this Saturday the need to “definitely turn to the island, to its potentialities and sit at the table to project a new Fogo from its comparative advantages”.
Nuías Silva, who was speaking at the ceremony for the institutional presentation of the company in the field of civil construction, urbanization, real estate, tourism and related areas, Barreto Vincent Solutions, congratulated the shareholders who are thinking big and want a company with international dimension from Fogo.
“That’s what we want, as mayor and public servant it is our duty to be on the side of companies, the business sector and the private sector we want to think big, build beautiful things to serve the Fogo, but to serve the national as a whole and the vast diaspora, from the Fogo,” he said.
His desire is for the development to reach the Fogo, but also the development comes from Fogo, stressing that it is in this perspective he wants to encourage the diaspora, the private sector to believe that it is possible to engender large and innovative solutions from the Fogo and serve the island, Cabo Verde and the vast diaspora spread around the world.
