Maritime connection between Cabo Verde, Senegal and Ivory Coast discussed at the meeting of National/Regional Authorities in Brussels

Praia, June 13 (Inforpress) – The maritime connection project between Cabo Verde, Senegal and  Ivory Coast  will be discussed at the meeting of National/Regional Authorities of the Strategic Orientation Committee (COS) of the PIR of West Africa, which begins this Wednesday in Brussels.

The information was released Monday during the AfDB’s mid-term evaluation workshop in Cabo Verde by the Minister of Finance Olavo Correia, who will represent Cabo Verde at that meeting.

“We are going to discuss a number of projects that are key to making ECOWAS, as a space, more visible. The maritime connection between Cabo Verde, Senegal and  Ivory Coast is one such project”, said the minister to reporters.

For him, the maritime connection between Cape Verde, Senegal and  Ivory Coast is “a very expensive project that will allow our country to amplify its market” in Europe and in the world, he stressed.
