Porto Inglês, Oct 14 (Inforpress) – The Governing Board of Horace Silver High School highlights as top priority to bring school closer to the community and work together with the teachers so that all students can achieve their goals.
This objective was announced to Inforpress by the new High School Principal, Cláudio Silva, adding that the focus is on the students, so that together they can, both the teachers, as well as the students, achieve “better results” at the end of the school year, which began almost a month ago. In this way, he explained that they will create a “good relationship” with parents and guardians.
One of the first steps will be to carry out activities in all the localities of the island, with a view to informing and clarifying parents and guardians about the objectives of the School and also to hear about the problems may exist in the education system and in the relationship with teachers.
It is also the aim of this new school board to encourage parents and guardians to go to the educational establishment to find out how their students are doing.
