Maense Association in Portugal elected member of the Social Network of Lisbon

Lisbon, May 18 (Inforpress) – Associação Maense em Portugal (AMP) (Maense Association in Portugal ) was elected today as a member of the Social Network of Lisbon, an organization with 546 members, including profit and non-profit associations, institutions, city council and Santa Casa de Misericórdia .

The information was confirmed to Inforpress by the president of AMP, Carlos Frederico, known as Lito Spencer, at the end of the 40th Plenary Meeting of the Local Council for Social Action of Lisbon (CLAS-Lx), a meeting that was attended by the mayor of Lisbon, Carlos Moedas.

By being part of this network, there are many advantages, such as, according to the associative leader, having access to information on financing projects, improving the association's internal organisation, achieving more partnerships, among others.

"As new members of the Lisbon Social Network, it is crucial that we are aware of working in partnership, of this collaborative governance, where we must support and strengthen social economy organisations, which are committed to building a more inclusive, fair and cohesive society," he stressed.
