Praia, Dec 23 (Inforpress) – The presenter of Maria Adriano Carvalho’s book “O passado hoje”, Fátima Bettencourt, considered the book as a “masterpiece” in the sense of the rigor and “exhaustive work” that author had to collect “so much data”.
Fátima Bettencourt was speaking to Inforpress today, moments after the presentation of this work, at Pedro Cardoso Bookstore, in the City of Praia. “I am very used to Adriana’s books, this is her second book that I present. She always deals with the history of education. If education ever has a systematized history, it is thanks to her. Because she has been dedicated to that, who has been collecting data,” she said.
This book presented here is, according to Fátima Bettencourt, really a “masterpiece” in the sense of the rigor and “exhaustive work” that the author had to gather “so much data” and “be careful that each document is cataloged and each the document has its origin there, how she got it, where it was taken from”.
“It’s a fantastic job,” added the writer, who, for “sure” the present work was lacking, especially for college students who want to turn to such an area. These, she said, may find in “O passado hoje” a “source of knowledge nowhere else.”
