Praia, Feb 18 (Inforpress) – The writer from Tarrafal Mário Loff presents this Friday, the 19th, his first book “O Rapto da Primeira-Dama”, under the seal of the Pedro Cardoso Bookshop, at the National Library, in the City of Praia.
The work, given to the print in 2020, will be presented by the writer Augusta Teixeira, also known as Mana Guta, who was also responsible for presenting it in the municipality of Tarrafal.
“Baca Norte”, “Amnesia”, “A dinamarquesa”, “Paris”, “As perguntas do menino Geraldino”, “Mastlka”, “Rihanna” and “O Rapto da Primeira-Dama” are the eight stories make up this book.
All of these stories, explained Mana Guta, focus on Tarrafal as a “space and mother land” and on Cabo Verde as a homeland, whose main protagonist is women and portray love, passion and dreams.
