Line of credit for the “House for All” program will not be fully consumed – PAICV parliamentary group spokesperson

Praia, Aug 11 (Inforpress) – The credit line made available by the Portuguese Government to Cabo Verde, under the “House for All” program, “will not be totally consumed, because there will be about 350 houses to build,” said today, Moisés Borges.

The spokesperson for the parliamentary group (GP) of the African Party of Independence of Cabo Verde (PAICV-opposition apty) made these revelations after a meeting with the IFH management to learn about the management process of this real state, in particular the “House for All” Program.

“We have come to know that, after all, the resources for the” House for All” program are not yet fully consumed and will not be consumed, taking into account that there were problems with some projects and therefore will not continue until the end of the program,” said Borges, adding that “the credit line ends later this year.”

Asked why the 350 or so houses will not be built, explained that it is due to several problems, namely the “bankruptcy of the consortiums that were working” and, in other cases, “because land has not yet been obtained in some places to move forward with construction “.
