Praia, Mar 23 (Inforpress) – The president of PAICV on Monday defended more dignity, greater auscultation and a better partnership between the Government and urban passenger transport operators.
Janira Hopffer Almada, who met at the National Assembly with urban passenger transport operators, in the context of the socialization of the “Cape Verde for all” vision, defended measures to improve the functioning and provision of services of the class.
The candidate for Prime Minister in the legislative of April 18, justified the initiative with the fact they represent a very important class, as partners in the development of Government work, considering even these operators are fundamental to the qualification of tourism.
After heard the concerns and claims raised by operators working in this sector, the head of the African Independence Party of Cabo Verde (PAICV) list by the South Santiago constituency warned for the need to combat crime, which puts at risk the physical integrity and even the life of these operators acting, above all, in a preventive way.
