Legislative Elections 2021/North Santiago: Ulisses Correia e Silva says the population is engaged in the MpD’s victory

Assomada, Mar 23 (Inforpress) – The president of the Movement for Democracy (MpD-ruling party) highlighted Monday the support and engagement of the population from North Santiago around the party’s candidacy for the elections of April 18, showing confidence in the renewal of confidence.

“(…) I felt that people are engaged, they want to keep their commitments to this Government by voting MpD, so that we can win the elections”, said Ulisses Correia e Silva.

The candidate for Prime Minister spoke to the press in Tarrafal, during his visit to North Santiago, which also covered the municipalities of São Miguel and Santa Catarina, in which accompanied by the head of MpD list for this constituency, Austelino Correia, and other members in the list, visited the municipal markets and spoke with those who passed on the streets in these three municipalities.

Ulisses Correia e Silva, who recalled that despite the three years of drought and the pandemic caused by the new coronavirus (COVID-19), the country grew, welcomed the fact that the population understood that the Government supported by the MpD ruled in “very difficult times”.
