Praia, Sept 2 (Inforpress) – A total of 113.720 students, distributed in two levels, of which 81.222 in Primary Education and 32.498 in Secondary Education, start classes on the 19th in Cabo Verde under the guidance of 6.266 teachers.
This information was provided by the National Director of Education (DNE), Adriano Moreno, in an exclusive to Inforpress where he assured that everything is ready for the 2022/2023 school year to start with all the “normality” under the sign of “Resilience and Trust for a Quality Education” and whose official opening takes place this year on the island of Fogo.
“We are looking for a normal school year and teachers will have two weeks of preparation before starting the school year,” he said, ensuring that everything is ready to receive teachers and students in schools.
Teachers will start working and being placed in their respective groupings from Monday, the 5th, while some schools are being painted, rehabilitated and properly equipped for the start of the school year and for a school more “desirable” possible.
