JpD organises meeting to debate and equip young people with basic knowledge of politics

Cidade da Praia, 03 Oct (Inforpress)-Youth for Democracy (JPD) promotes Saturday, 07, the 1st edition of the “JPD-Praia staff School” to provide young people with basic knowledge about politics and discuss “burning Topics” of national and international current affairs.

The announcement was made this morning by JpD vice-president Nelson Martins during a press conference on the event, in which he reaffirmed that for his party political training is a commitment to democracy and to the future of Cabo Verde.

In this sense, he stressed that the youth of the Movement for Democracy (MPD, in power) promotes on Saturday, 07, the “JPD-Praia School of staff”, an event that will be attended by 50 young people who were selected from several others who applied.

He explained that this new initiative aims to provide young people with basic knowledge about politics, as well as debating current national and international topics in line with what has been the practice among the party’s youth.
