Praia, Jun 21 (Inforpress) – The President of the Republic, Jorge Carlos Fonseca begins today an official three-day visit to Equatorial Guinea, where Agreement on the Abolition of Visas in ordinary passports, the maritime economy and tourism should be signed.
The Cabo Verdean Head of State will be accompanied by a delegation composed of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Regional Integration, the Minister of Industry, Trade and Energy, the Ambassador of Cabo Verde accredited in Equatorial Guinea, Ambassador of Cabo Verde to the CPLP and senior officials and national businessmen.
According to the notice from the Presidency of the Republic, the visit is an opportunity for the two countries to continue to strengthen ties of friendship, fraternity and cooperation in various areas.
“At bilateral level, the main issues of cooperation and economic and trade relations between the two countries and education, higher and vocational training, information technologies, air transport, pharmaceutical industry, agriculture, renewable energy, trade, fisheries and tourism will be reviewed,” the document reads.
