Praia, Feb 24 (Inforpress) – The technician Janito Carvalho is the new president of the Football Coaches Association of Cabo Verde (ATFCV), replacing Humberto Bettencourt, assistant coach of the national team.
The team led by Janito Carvalho has a project underway to create a legal framework that regulates the exercise of the football coach in Cabo Verde, so that the coaches’ class has the capacity to contribute to the development of the national sport.
In this three-year term, the new management team elects as the first measures to empower coaches in terms of technical skills to better guide a football team, having already sent a proposal for regulations to the Cabo Verdean Football Federation for study.
Partnerships with competent sports entities, such as regional associations and the FCF for training, are pointed out by Carvalho as being essential “in this great struggle” for the implementation of this class.
