City of Praia, Apr. 04 (Inforpress) – The government is available to analyze and debate the proposed law establishing the framework for the municipal budget in order to bring more transparency, allowing citizens access to information, Inforpress learned today.
The information was provided to journalists by the president of the first Committee, Carmem Martins, during the meeting to consider proposals for review.
According to Martins, the initiative aims, above all, to bring transparency, and the municipal council, as a body, should publish maps so that citizens and all Cape Verdeans have access to more information.
“The proposal will be debated in detail, and the proponent of the initiative, in this case the government, will have every opportunity to receive, analyze and debate the proposals,” emphasized the president, who said that the initiative will be discussed in detail later for further changes.
