Praia, Mar 31 (Inforpress) – Danielson Correia, a student at the Higher Institute of Economic and Financial Sciences (ISCEE) won the academic competition “Scholarship Tournament”, held by the Cabo Verde Stock Exchange (BVC), the financial institution announced Tuesday.
The competition is part of BVC’s annual activity plan, more specifically in the education and financial training plan for the year 2021 and the plan for the celebration of Global Money Week 2021.
The “Scholarship Tournament”, according to information gave by the Director of Market Operations of BVC to Inforpress, Edmilson Mendonça, was intended for all students regularly enrolled in higher education institutions in the country in any undergraduate courses.
The final phase included six finalists from four universities: University of Jean Piaget (UniPiaget), University of Cabo Verde (Uni-CV), Higher Institute of Economic and Business Sciences (ISCEE) and Higher Institute of Legal and Social Sciences (ISCJS).
Of the six finalists, three were ranked, with Danielson Correia winning first place on the podium, and Carine Pires, from UniPiaget, was in second place, and in the third, Magda Rocha, from Uni-CV, all of them, students from economics, management and accounting courses.
