Introduction of the  Media Access and Consumption module is a novelty in the Continuous Multipurpose Survey 2018

Praia, Nov 2 (Inforpress) – The National Institute of Statistics (INE) starts today the Continuous Multipurpose Survey (IMC) 2018, with the introduction of the Media Access and Consumption module.

According to a note from INE, the Continuous Multipurpose Survey module will take into account the access to the media, frequency and intensity in the consumption of the media, notoriety and preference.

In the same survey, information on the Demographic Characteristics of the Population (sex, age, marital status, immigration, among others) and Labour Market (employment, unemployment, active population, among others) will also be collected.

Living conditions of households (characteristics of housing, access to some services such as water, electricity, sanitation, etc.), Education and Vocational Training (profile of individuals aged 15-64 who completed vocational training and their insertion in the market of work), are other modules of this  Continuous Multipurpose Survey.
