Praia, Jun 18 (Inforpress) – The INSA president launched a challenge to the Ministers of Health from Cabo Verde and Portugal to hold, in 2022, a Health Congress between the two countries to discuss the sector.
Fernando Almeida was speaking at the opening ceremony of the 4th Congress of Laboratory Quality Control for Portuguese-speaking Countries, which takes place, in the city of Praia, from June 17 to 18 under the theme “CPLP laboratories in the improvement of laboratory quality”.
“It can be a health congress to, above all, learn lessons we can observe with the pandemic,” said the President of the Ricardo Jorge National Institute of Health (INSA) thanking the distinction with which the Ministry of Health awarded him in recognition of his cooperation with Cabo Verde.
For her part, the president of the National Institute of Public Health (INSP), Maria da Luz Mendonça, welcomed the fact that Cabo Verde organized the congress should have taken place in 2019, but due to COVID-19 took plalce in 2021.
