Porto Novo, 22 Sep (Inforpress) – Santo Antão has its first Computerized Axial Tomography (CAT) device that will begin operating this Saturday, 23rd, with the opening of the Medicentro subsidiary clinic, which is located in the city of Porto-Novo.

A abertura da clínica filial do Medicentro em Santo Antão, de acordo com uma nota desta estrutura privada de saúde enviada à Inforpress, permite que esta ilha passe a dispor, pela primeira vez, de um aparelho TAC.

As the “new undertaking”, the Medicentro traces to Santo Antão a “unique in the island” medical care structure, according to the same source, which announces the inauguration of the branch this Saturday in Alto Peixinho, Porto Novo.

The structure includes its services a clinical analysis laboratory for emergencies, surgical bloc, specialty consultations, cardiology examinations, endoscopies and ambulance service, as well as CAT equipment.
