Handball: National coach warns that Cabo Verde is going to the Egypt World Cup to compete

Praia, 10 Sept (Inforpress) – The national male handball coach considers that Cabo Verde is going to the World Cup in Egypt with a focus on the growth of another stage, but warned that he is going to compete and not merely to participate in this world showcase.

José Tomaz said that he will continue to work with the Cabo Verdean team to make the best use of its debut in the world of the sport, aware that the COVID-19 pandemic hinders the work plan he intends to implement in the next competition.

“This is a unique opportunity for everyone to be with the best, to learn and, certainly, to give dignity to our national team. We are not going to participate, we are going to compete “, stated the “Blue Sharks” helmsman, because the national team is known, for whom it is up to Cabo Verde to focus on its principle of play, combined with the work process.

The 27th Handball World Championship takes place from 13 to 31 January 2021 in Egypt and Cabo Verde shares Group A with national teams from Germany, Hungary and Uruguay.
