Government will bring to Parliament a bill on municipal, local and regional development planning

Pedra Badejo, May 6 (Inforpress) – The Minister of State and Territorial Cohesion, Janine Lélis, announced on Thursday that the Government will “soon” bring to Parliament a legislative initiative on municipal, local and regional development planning.

Janine Lélis made this announcement to the press, on the sidelines of a visit to the Ribeira dos Picos works, as part of her stay of two days in the municipality of Santa Cruz, to find out the prospects and potential for the economic development of the municipality.

“We are working and a legislative initiative on municipal, local and regional development planning to be presented in Parliament shortly, which actually systematises and organises how such planning should be drawn up, prepared and implemented,” she announced.

This legislative initiative, the Minister stressed, will be drawn up, prepared and implemented in the perspective that all powers have responsibilities, that is, some greet each other so that together they can work together for what is the development we want.
