Praia, Jul 14 (Inforpress) – Seventy million escudos is the amount of the program contract signed Tuesday between the Government and the 22 City Hall to ensure promotion and social inclusion services closer to the community and optimize central and local resources.
Funded by the Ministry of Family, Inclusion and Social Development, of this amount, 42 million escudos is intended for Integrated Support to 29.000 families, while 27.248.851 escudos is intended to the pre-school level for more than three thousand children and close to 1.000 in access to daycare centers, amount of which are expected to impact directly on people.
The minister in charge for the Family, Inclusion and Social Development portfolio, considered very important this partnership with all City Halls in the country, so that local and central authorities meet the Sustainable Development Goals, aiming to “reduce absolute poverty, eliminate extreme poverty and work to equalize opportunities to increase territorial cohesion”.
“These are actions aim essentially to strengthen access to education, through pre-school, network of daycare centers, in the functioning of social services, in the best provision of the social income of inclusion, in improving the quality of social services in City Halls, in the care services for the elderly, people with disabilities and children with special needs”, explained Fernando Elísio Freire.
