Praia, Nov 30 (Inforpress) – The Deputy Prime Minister, Olavo Correia, said today in the City of Praia the Government will invest so that in the near future all people in Cabo Verde have access to Digital Terrestrial Television (TDT), “free of shadow areas”.
Olavo Correia, who also is responsible for the Business Development and the Digital Economy portfolio, spoke on the sidelines of the forum “A new television’s era, from analog to digital, a world to explore”.
The event’s core objectives are to reflect the issue of the impact the digital transformation is having on businesses, people and society, new business models that “profoundly change” the economy and skills needed to take advantage of new opportunities.
Cabo Verde, considered the same source, has already taken a “huge step” with the TDT coverage, even though there are some shadow areas, the Government synthesized works so that all the transmission of content can be done in a “fast, efficient and quality” way, using new information and communication technologies.
