Praia, Jan 30 (Inforpress) – The Movement for Democracy MP (MpD, ruling party), João Gomes said that the government has data pointing to the reduction of unemployment and to the economy growth.
João Gomes took stock of the decentralized days held before the parliamentary debate this Wednesday with the Prime minister, in a press conference, this Tuesday in Praia.
According to the MP, it is accepted by all political actors that families now have more income and there is no doubt that the data available for analysis show that unemployment is decreasing.
The politician recalled that in 2015 there was a ratio of 15% of the unemployed population, in 2017 this ratio fell to 12.3%, but despite the National Institute of Statistics not having released the data for 2018, the conviction that the party has is that, in fact, there is a reduction and the outlook is that unemployment will continue to decline.
