Praia, Apr 17 (Inforpress) – Cabo Verde will join the Alliance for Decarbonization of Transport, a measure approved by the Council of Ministers in the scope of the Resolution of the Policy Charter for Electric Mobility.
The information is advanced on the official website of the Government, which describes that Cabo Verde will become the first African country to join the Alliance for the Decarbonization of Transport (TDA), a global alliance of countries, cities and companies, officially launched in May 2018 in Germany, at the initiative of Portugal, France, Holland and Costa Rica.
As the same source points out, this accession will allow greater visibility of Cabo Verde’s objectives, mobilize partnerships for the implementation of electricity mobility and, at the same time, reduce greenhouse gas emissions in transport, as well as the experience.
The goal of this alliance is to promote the decarbonisation of mobility and transport systems and to accelerate the actions needed to achieve carbon neutrality.
