Global Money Week wants to improve financial literacy for children and young people

Calheta, São Miguel, Mar 21 (Inforpress) – Global Money Week (GMW), which takes place from today, the 25th, wants to improve the financial literacy for children and young people in the country, through training in financial education.

The initiative, according to a note from the Bank of Cabo Verde (BCV), kicks off this Monday in São Miguel (Santiago Island), and continues Friday, 25, in the municipality of Santa Catarina do Fogo.

Under the theme “Build your future, use your money smartly”, the 10th edition of GMW aims to improve the financial literacy for children and young people in the country, through training in financial education, giving them financial knowledge, which can assist them in making intelligent financial decisions, improving their financial well-being and, consequently, their quality of life.

“Build your future: use your money smartly”, “talking to your money”, “who saves dreams”, “what is your purpose?” and “the Cabo Verdean financial system” are the topics to be addressed.
