Gasoline price drops 0.9%, but diesel rises 18.1%

Praia, Jul 1 (Inforpress) – The Multisectoral Regulatory Agency for the Economy (ARME) updated the new maximum fuel prices, with diesel being sold at 181.30 escudos, an increase of 18.19% and gasoline at 189 escudos, a decrease of 0.9%.

In a statement released on Thursday, ARME recalls that the Government, through Resolution No. 28/2022 of March 25, decided to temporarily suspend the application of the fuel pricing mechanism, which took effect between 1 April and 30 June 2022.

So, according to the new table, which is in force until July 31, the liter of regular diesel starts to be sold at 181.30 escudos, gasoline to be sold at 189.00 escudos, oil at 202.70 escudos, diesel for electricity at 180.30 escudos, marine diesel at 152.4 escudos, Fuel 380 to 134.80 escudos per kg and Fuel 180, to 141.00 escudos.

The regulatory agency also reports that the new prices of butane gas have decreased and is now sold in bulk for 167.80/Kg, with bottles from 3Kg to 478.00 escudos, those from 6Kg to 1007.00 escudos, those of 12.5Kg, to 2098.00 escudos and the 55Kg, to 9232.00 escudos.
