Praia, July 10 (Inforpress) – Four students from the 11th and 12th grade represent Cabo Verde in the seventh edition of the CPLP Mathematical Olympiad to be held from July 23 to 29 in Porto, Portugal.
Pablo Veiga and Tiago Rocha Silveira Pires, from Miraflores School (Santiago), Jordy Silva, Liceu Domingos Ramos (Santiago), and André Ramalho, from the Industrial and Commercial School of Mindelo, are the archipelago representatives.
These students from the third cycle have had better qualifications during the national Olympiads, which ended last week.
Jordy Silva and Pablo Veiga participate in the Olympiads of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP) for the second time, after having won bronze medals in September last year.
