Former chairman of TACV’s board of directors acknowledges that handling was “bad business” for the company

Praia, April 12 (Inforpress) – Former Chairman of the TACV’s Board of Directors, Joao Pereira Silva, acknowledged today in statements at the hearing in Parliament’s Specialized Committee on Finance and Budget that the handling business “was bad” for the national air carrier.

The former TACV manager, after leaving the hearing, made it clear to the journalists that he wanted to give more clarification about the national company and only did not do it because the MP did not understand it.

“I was invited to come here (Parliament) and I had the opportunity to clarify some things and there is much more to clarify, but I think we will have time for that”, it was with these few words that Joao Pereira Silva wanted to answer questions from journalists, however, he show that “all are few to save the national company”.

During the hearing, when confronted with the arrest of the Boeing 737 in the Netherlands, during the term of his administration, Pereira Silva acknowledged that this situation had “very serious consequences” for the TACV, in particular in terms of image.
