Football: The Cape Verdean international Bijou ends his career at 30 years old

Praia, March 29 (Inforpress) – The Cape Verdean international midfielder Davidson Renato da Cruz Coronel, “Bijou”, 30 years old, decided to quit football after 13 years of professional career.

The footballer said to Inforpress that this decision was taken with the family and believes that it was the best because despite loving football the family always comes first.

“It was difficult to make that decision, but I think it was the best. It was 13 years away from family and friends. I love football, but it was never the most important,” said Biju to Inforpress via the Internet.

The player confesses that he quits football “without any regrets” because he had the opportunity to play in Benfica, in his opinion “the best team in the world”, and make friends that will last a lifetime.
