Football: Gambia and Nigeria referee teams refereeing Cabo Verde games with Cameroon and Mozambique

Praia, Nov 6 (Inforpress) – Cabo Verde’s next games with Cameroon and Mozambique, counting for the CAN’2021 qualifying group F, will be led by referee teams from the Gambia and Nigeria respectively, announced today the CAF.

For the November 13 game in Youandé against Cameroon, the African Football Confederation (CAF) named a Gambian refereeing team headed by central referee Gassama Bakary Papa, assisted by Darboe Omar and Jarju Nfally.

Sallah Omar, also from the Gambia, will be the four assistant, with Onva Tadeo Nsue, from Equatorial Guinea, the game commissioner.

Already the game with Mozambique, to be played in November 18, at the National Stadium, in the City of Praia, will be led by a Nigerian referee team, led by Joseph Odey Ogabor, with Efosa Celestino Igudia and Isan Usman as linesmen. Cabo Verde is part of Group F and, in addition to Cameroon (host country of CAN’2021), and Mozambique, Rwanda is still ahead.
