Praia, June 26 (Inforpress) – The Ultramarina team, regional champion of São Nicolau, threatens to fail on Tuesday, the semi-finals game of the national football championship against Mindelense, for disagreeing with the postponements of the Cabo Verdean Football Federation (FCF).
Initially scheduled for Saturday, 24, the match was postponed until Sunday, and postponed again this time for this Tuesday, 27, because the Cabo Verde Cup winners Sportivo Mindelense Clube has the difficulty to place all its summoned on the island of São Nicolau.
Part of Mindelense team arrived in the island of São Nicolau midway through last week, and another party only landed on Saturday with a stopover on the Sal Island, while another part is still at Praia City waiting for the flight to the “Island of Chiquinho”.
Reacting to the second postponement of this game, Ultramarina’s management made it clear that it will not attend the match on Tuesday, even claiming it did not know any official FCF position.
