Ribeira Grande, Jun 9 (Inforpress) – The coach of Santo Crucifixo, Palela, described his team’s performance in the first phase of the national football championship as “reasonable”, however, assured that “nothing is lost” and that the balance it’s done at the end.
“In this qualifying phase, we had two complicated weeks where the group was a little shaken, but maybe at that time if we were more focused we could already be qualified. It didn’t happen now, face forward, we have one more game, we’re going to try to win and in the end we’ll do the math” he stressed.
Santo Crucifixo will host next Sunday, 11, in the last round of the group stage, at the João Serra Stadium Mindelense that is already qualified to the semi-finals of the national football championship.
A game that, according to Palela, will be “quite difficult”, taking into account that the team is not at “maximum strength”.
