Praia, June 6 (Inforpress) – The Cabo Verde’s football coach Lucio Antunes promissed to work the team with the only thought in victory for Saturday’s game against Uganda, although he expects a “very strong” team.
At the end of this first training session of the second internship phase, held this morning at the National Stadium in Praia City, the Cabo Verdean coach said that the team has been recovering well, after completing the first phase held in Portugal, and now all the batteries are pointed so that the national team can return to the victories.
“The Ugandan team has grown a lot in recent times and comes from a victory over Congo and a draw against Ghana in qualifying matches for the World Cup, but it is up to Cabo Verde to focus on its own work to be a strong team,” he said.
However, he said that if the national team manages to achieve its individual quality and support from the public at home, it will lead to defeat in Uganda.
