Praia, Oct 30 (Inforpress) – The African Football Confederation (CAF) has nominated the vice-president of the Cabo Verdean Football Federation (FCF) Joel Barros as commissioner of the U-23 qualifying game.
The game, which brings together Equatorial Guinea and Sao Tome and Principe, will take place in Malabo on November 14.
According to a FCF note, this is Joel Barros’ fifth appointment to an international game. The same as Lito Semedo, who also holds the position of vice-president of the maximum body of Cabo Verdean football.
It should be recalled that the Commissioners Ariana Firmino, on two occasions, and Lúcia Moniz, on one occasion, were also nominated this year by CAF, totaling 13 appointments in just one year.
