Praia, Oct 20 (Inforpress) – Cabo Verdean internationals Patrick Andrade, Ryan Mendes and Nuno Tavares made their debut for their respective teams last Saturday.
Midfielder Patrick Andrade, a Qarabag FC reinforcement for the current season, entered the 66th minute of the second half, scoring his club’s second goal from a penalty in a game in which the Gabala team won 3-0.
The midfielder’s club has eight points and is in fifth position in the Azerbaijan league standings. The Cabo Verdean international striker Ryan Mendes also made his debut last Saturday, wearing the shirt of Al Nasr, in a game of the first round of the Arabian Gulf League.
Ryan scored in the fourth minute of the match against Al Jazira, but the opposing team would equalize in the 34th minute of the first half. It is recalled that the Cabo Verdean international replaced Al Sharjah, where he spent two seasons, having played 55 games and scoring 24 goals, to wear the shirt of Al Nasr, both from the United Arab Emirates.
