Praia, Oct 12 (Inforpress) – The Cabo Verdean football team lost this Saturday to its counterpart in Guinea Conakry 2-1, in a game of preparation for the CAN 2021 qualifiers, in a match played at the Algarve Stadium, Portugal.
Cabo Verde opened the scoring with a goal by Lisandro Semedo in the 39th minute of the first half, but early in the second half of the match Guinea Conakry scored by Sory Kaba.
In the 67th minute, Guinean striker Yady Bangoura scored the goal that would give victory to the national team of Guinea Conakry.
On Wednesday, 7th, the Cabo Verdean football team beat its counterpart in Andorra 2-1, a match played at the National Stadium of Andorra. These two friendly matches were used to prepare for the third and fourth qualifying rounds for CAN 2021, against Rwanda.
