São Filipe, April 21 (Inforpress) – Unitel T+ is positioning itself to improve the services that the island can offer to ensure better connection between the resident population and the vast diaspora, said Inoweze Ferreira, the general director and administrator of Unitel T+.
The representative of this telecommunications company, who chaired the first business convention on “The role of digital economy in the transformation of the Fogo/Brava Region” on Thursday, April 20, said that the operator has a history with the island of Fogo and that, in addition to looking at the challenges that the country has, it is also looking at the municipalities, especially understanding the dynamics and challenges that the islands of Fogo and Brava face.
“Today, cities have transformation challenges, including environmental, technological, and infrastructure challenges, and we see that the island of Fogo is transforming,” highlighted Inoweze Ferreira, emphasizing that “above all, it is necessary for this transformation to reach the people.”
To achieve this, he considered it is necessary to create an ecosystem within the island for active participation of the population.
