Fogo: Terra de Valor Project foresees working on horticulture-fruit and dairy value chains

São Filipe, Jan 28 (Inforpress) – The project in the ​​agriculture and environment area, called Terra de Valor, envisages among its activities to implement a participatory analysis of two value chains, namely horticulture and fruit and dairy products.

The information was provided by the project coordinator, Leonardo Di Blanda, following the training opening aimed at young people and women on gender concepts and new forms of masculinity and the impact of gender imbalances on agriculture that ends today in the city of São Filipe.

The three-year project is funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) and its implementation involves several partnerships, namely Coopermondo, COSPE onlus, Citi-Habitat, White Ribbon, City Halls, Ministry of Agriculture.

Training on gender concepts and new forms of masculinity is the first activity the project is implementing after a long period of pandemic and COVID-19, said Leonardo Di Blanda, recalling that it targets young people and women and its objective is to value agriculture, to create a change in the target audience based on their choices.
