São Paulo, Nov 12 (Inforpress) – The Secretary of State for Education, Amadeu Cruz, chairs the opening of the eighth edition of the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW 2018) in the City of Cova Figueira, Santa Catarina do Fogo.
Promoted by the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Cabo Verde (AJEC), in partnership with the Institute of Employment and Vocational Training (IEFP) and the Institute for Business Support and Promotion (Pro-Empresa), the Week runs from 12 to 18 in all the islands, with over 150 guests seeking the empowerment of entrepreneurial youth and aspiring entrepreneurs.
According to the program, the opening act of the week, which has the theme “Women, Youth, Inclusion and Ecosystem” has the testimony of a local businessman, as well as the GEW ambassador, Saulo Montrond, followed by the presentation of GEW 2018 by coordinator.
After the formal act with the intervention of a representative from the three City Halls of the island and the Secretary of State for Education, a cultural and musical session is scheduled for an “open talk” about entrepreneurship and employability – challenges and opportunities for Fogo, by AJEC, Pro-Empresa and IEFP and a visit to the entrepreneurship / employment fair that is promoted within the framework of the global entrepreneurship week.
