Sao Filipe, May 4 (Inforpress) – Improving access to localities and upgrading urban centers and housing are the Government’s top priorities, said the Prime Minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva, who ends a 10-day visit to the Fogo and Brava region.
In Mosteiros, the last municipality to be visited and questioned about the continuity of the ring road, Ulisses Correia e Silva said that the Government is considering the situation to see the best financing mechanism because it’s a challenging investment, arguing that the question which must be placed on the table.
“Improving access to localities, upgrading urban centers, take advantage of the maritime fronts potential and upgrading housing are priorities and then we see if there are resources to do more structural and more important works that require more investment,” said Ulisses Correia e Silva.
The head of the Government assured that he will bet on a strong urban and environmental requalification of the city of Sao Filipe, transforming it into a reference city on the island and can attract more tourists and investments as factors driving the economy.
