São Filipe, Oct 20 (Inforpress) – The Government has granted status as a public interest body to the association for conservation and sustainable use of resources “Projecto Vitó”, in recognition of the development work in the conservation and preservation of the environment.
The grant of public interest body status is set out in Order No. 720/2020 of the Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers of 23 July, under the terms of Decree-Law No. 59/2005, of 19 September and published in Official Bulletin No. 97 II Series of 28 July 2020.
The executive director of the Projecto Vitó , Herculano Dinis, was satisfied with the granting of public interest body status to the association, considering the initiative brings advantages to the implementation of its activities.
As part of the partnership with Fundação Mava, the institution finances several projects, the association promotes training in project management area and organization management for project technicians, with another one planned in foreign languages, in order to train and prepare staff to implement all projects funded by the foundation within the framework of the organizational development plan.
According to Herculano Dinis, within the framework of the organizational development plan, it is foreseen the organization promotes the review of the statutes, the functioning regulation for the better functioning of the association itself.
