São Filipe, June 27 (Inforpress) – The Ministry of Economy and Employment said Monday in São Filipe that the National Airport and Air Safety Agency (ASA) has already awarded technical feasibility studies for illumination of the São Filipe airfield.
José Gonçalves gave this information when he presided over the opening ceremony of the round table on “Development of tourism in the islands of Fogo e Brava”, which runs throughout the day at Casa das Bandeiras facilities.
According to the official, the lighting of the airfield is an investor of the sector initiative that intends to bet on tourism of high value and adding value, and to bring its costumers to the island of Fogo the airfield illumination is an important factor to enhance this type of tourism.
José Gonçalves indicated that the project to carry out the technical feasibility study has already been awarded and is expected to be completed in three months, followed by talks to find the best way to configure the lighting of this airfield infrastructure.
