São Filipe, Jan 4 (Inforpress) – The Água para Viver Association financed painting kits for five deaf and dumb students who completed level 1 training, in the amount of approximately 150.000 escudos, aimed at promoting self-employment.
The kits were delivered at the end of 2020 and on the same occasion, the Água para Viver Association, based in the Netherlands and which since 1978 has mobilized resources and financed several projects in the most varied sectors, signed an agreement with the Employment Center and Professional Training for intervention in various fields.
The director of the Center for Employment and Vocational Training, António Cardoso, told Inforpress that with the signing of the agreement, this non-governmental organization provides 1.3 million escudos for the payment of tuition fees to trainees and for painting the Ponta Verde training center, which was built by this association, and offered to the State of Cabo Verde.
The amount should cover the purchase of consumables for the agricultural production management training course, namely the construction of greenhouses and water pipes.
