São Filipe, Nov 24 (Inforpress) – The Chã cooperative cellar is making efforts to place its latest product, sparkling wine, on the national market during the festive period.
“We are in the experimental phase of sparkling wine production and we are analyzing the possibility of placing some 500 bottles on the market, on the occasion of the parties”, said David Monteiro Gomes “Neves”, stressing that the winery is waiting for the labels that must arrive from the Canary Islands.
He said that the winery held, a week ago, an experimentation and tasting session with the participation of its partners from the Canary Islands and the sparkling wine produced based on the traditional black grape variety (Touriga nacional) points out that it is “a product of excellent quality ”and the winery should think about betting on this type of product.
The winery has been working on the production of sparkling wine for three years and the production will be placed on the market is from the first year, because its production requires some technical work.
