First private hospital in Cabo Verde with investment of 27 ME

Praia, June 21 (Inforpress) – Cabo Verde’s first private hospital will be born “in the shadow” of Gamboa’s tourist complex in a planned investment of 27 million euros and on the initiative of a Portuguese doctor and another Cabo Verdean working in Portugal.

Aníbal Tavares, a Portuguese physician and health consultant, and Emanuel Figueiredo, a Cabo Verdean physician residing and working in Portugal, joined Figueiredo and Tavares, Consultadoria em Saúde, SA to carry out the project of the first Private hospital in Cabo Verde.

The promoters, who last week participated in the Meeting of Entrepreneurs for Economic Cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, have joined through an agreement signed during the meeting the Chinese company Chinlumac Corporation, Ltd.

“We want, together with the Chinese partner with whom we sign the agreement, to apply for the China-Portuguese-Language Cooperation and Development Fund to develop a major project in the private hospital area,” said Emanuel Figueiredo to Lusa.
