São Filipe, April 16 (Inforpress) – The representative of Sal Island, Stefania Lopes, was the winner of the Todo o Mundo Canta gala held on Saturday night, the 15th, at the multipurpose hall of the III Congress neighborhood with representatives from seven islands.
Interpreting the songs “Cize” by Joaquim Almeida (Morgadinho) and “Feitiço funaná” by Maria de Lurdes Assunção, the representative from Sal Island was the one who received the greatest acclaim from the public, right from her first performance, and the decision of the jury, made up of Bob Mascarenhas, Ceuzany and Mário Djack, was not contested by either the public or the other competitors.
Stefania Lopes scored 198 points, 11 more than the representative from São Vicente, Indira Delgado, and 35 more points than the third-place finisher, Aguinaldo Brito, from Boa Vista.
